Groove Control is always active for optimum sound quality at virtually any tempo.technology (Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine) A Capture feature allows the spontaneous audio chaos patterns to be made into a MIDI file, dragged and dropped into the host sequencer, and played back again for further editing by the user.

The results can be subtle or extreme by setting the simple to use controls. With simple controls, the user can introduce musical Chaos into the groove, which allows it to have constantly evolving variations- giving the impression that the audio grooves are improvising. Of the many new capabilities in Stylus RMX, possibly the most innovative feature is the Chaos Designer™. Stylus RMX also can be expanded with existing Groove Control CD-ROM libraries and even REX files - which opens the door for musicians to utilize their own audio loops within the powerful S.A.G.E. Xpanders” for Stylus RMX at $99US retail each. Stylus RMX marks Spectrasonics' first expandable virtual instrument, with a series of five new “S.A.G.E. RMX 1.5 even comes with 500 new Multi grooves! Mixes of grooves are broken down into individual tracks called Elements for flexibility and infinite combinations.Īlso new in Stylus RMX are thousands of new Kit modules, 250 Kit patches, as well as user Kit construction.Users can create their own customized multitrack remix grooves and kits, save them into the plug-in, and even share them with other Stylus RMX users on different platforms and hosts. The new sounds and grooves in Stylus RMX offer a much wider range of modern musical genres than the original Stylus. The new core library contains nearly triple the amount of sounds originally offered in the original Stylus, and contains all the original material as well. The massive new 7.4 gigabyte core-library in Stylus RMX has thousands of cutting-edge grooves and sounds that were created by Spectrasonics' international sound design team, and produced by Eric Persing. Same thing.FEATURES: Spectrasonics' in-house development team created the new instrument from the ground up, with dozens of new features including the ground-breaking Chaos Designer™, a completely redesigned multi-page user interface, a new core library of sounds, all with a focus on realtime groove creation and performance. P:S: I thought it might be fixed with the 1.5.1 upgrade, but I just tried it and no dice. Sorry, there is no sound.I couldn't get Viewletcam to record my computer's sound. Then, there should be NOTHING going to track 1.but yet there still is.(you will see the signal go to Audio Track 2, and then 3)Īlso, in the video.I go ahead an place each RMX channel on it own output to show the difference in the levels on Audio track 2 and RMX's track 2.which is the kick drum.and should be pretty is in RMX.but not in Live. However, I take it a step further and put all of RMX's channels on Output B.and then Output C. I pretty much did the while exact multi output lesson from the video.even with the same multi. (at the very end of the Spectrasonics video, check out the huge level on audio track 1.compared to how relatively soft the part is.compare how the whole multi sounds at 2:32 and at the end at 8:58.everything is being played twice.some things are being duplicated on Audio Track 1)Īnyway, I went ahead and made a video to demonstrate. In fact it does it in the Spectrasonics video as well, it's just hard to notice. It seems that no matter what, all of the audio still gets routed to the "Track Out" selected audio track. (Track Out for some reason represents Output A in RMX)

However, when you split up each of RMX's outputs to their own audio track in Live.I think there is a problem with the "Track Out" option on the first track.

I watched the host specific tutorial video on Live and RMX and followed it to a tee. (I tried searching and didn't find anything) And I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before. I've just purchased Ableton Live and have been looking forward to using it with Stylus RMX.
